I am going to be completely real here, because I worked in the hotel industry for 10 years and know the expectations people have when traveling. First of all, you aren't going to get a Ritz Carlton when you're paying $50 a night so the fact that half of these reviews are nasty is really ridiculous. We booked this hotel because we were in the area unexpectedly for an emergency. We didn't need a fancy place with HBO and room service....we needed a clean room, a bed, a shower, and we didn't want to take home any bed bugs. We checked in, and I did a detailed inspection to check for bed bugs (again I worked in the industry....even 5 star hotels get them). There was no sign of any infestation of ANY kind...the room and bathroom was clean...the bed was comfortable, and the heater warmed up the room really quickly. The hotel is exactly what we needed. If you are looking for a practical room, at a great price, and you don't stick your nose up in the air about the fact that they don't have heated floors when you get out of the shower....this is the place. I would definitely stay here again...and probably will. don't believe everything you read.

Quit! Beautiful view on the trim, good bed ! The building is historical mark, clean and big! Good TV and WIFI! And can see Netflix in my iPad very well!

the people were very nice in helping with my reservation and was able to get me into a more appropriate room for what my needs were so regardless of how the room looked I was more happy with the price and the service that I received

No frills motel, but clean and quiet. Traveling thru , so we needed to rest and keep moving. The bed was a little uncomfortable (hard) , probably just used to our own. Great water pressure and all the hot water you want. Just off hwy 81 , so the location is great. And a great lil German restaurant right around the corner from the motel! Gas stations and more food right across the road. Overall...... a decent place to catch a shower and rest up overnight while traveling thru and the cash deal was 5 stars..... $75 dollars for my wife and I .

The room was clean and location was really peaceful. We really enjoyed the balcony with the forest at the back of the hotel. For $50 per night, this was a good deal and the best you can get at that price. I would reccomend it to anyone looking for a decent cheap place. Walkable distance to the lovely Eidelweiss german restaurant as well as the Subway, so you can eat fancy or cheap without driving.

Pros: best rates in town, spacious rooms, sitting area, ample parking, decently comfortable beds, back door opens p to a nice shared yard in the back, Historic building, clean bathroom with a working lock! Cons: some cob webs on the ceiling, insulation wasn't the greatest, TV was a little old.

Prices were definitely very reasonable, overall the rooms are really nice. Has a little out door balcony and swing set in the back. I think it was great. Would definitely stay there again.

Obviously this is a low price motel. But what makes this place different is that for that low price you get a very clean room with 2 sinks, a microware. a frig and a comfortable bed. Talk about a great value!

Great place! Comfy beds! Nice temperature to get a good sleep! Definitely recommend it and love the owners (really nice people)

Very clean nice place though old sure. Worked well to rest after long day of driving and we were ready to pay whatever, our room was $75. Boyfriend was worrying about luggage in the car because hotel is located by the road but nothing bad happened, everyone around was nice Thanks to this place for the opportunity to recharge
